SYNOPSIS: "An unwanted son becomes king. A shepherd becomes a deliverer. A mother becomes legendary, fulfilling a ridiculous prophecy. These are some of the historic stories of the Bible. Their stories embrace the miraculous, often bordering on the unbelievable. Their stories have been told and retold by authors and filmed in movies for centuries. At the core of these stories is an incredible faith that each of these people exhibited when their backs were against the wall . . . or in the case of one of them, against an ocean. Their stories have been put into songs and poems. We call these songs and poems ‘The Psalms’. Some of the Psalms spoke about past events. Others accurately predicted future events that occurred centuries later. Still others speak of events yet to come. Psalms for Life examines the concept of faith through the lens of selected Psalms, challenging us to have the necessary faith to step into the magnificent journey God designed for us."
