Meet Kevin Brown: Technologist, Speaker, Author, and Advocate for Simplicity and Truth

Kevin Brown lives with his wife, Georgina, in the heart of North Texas. Since their marriage in 1995, the couple has built a strong and vibrant blended family. Georgina brought two sons from her previous marriage, while Kevin was already the proud father of two sons and a daughter. A few years into their life together, they welcomed their youngest, Maddie, completing their family of six children. Today, they are not only loving parents but also doting grandparents to three energetic and joyful grandsons.

Professionally, Kevin has spent the majority of his career in the technology sector. Starting in telecommunications, he adapted and evolved with the rapid growth of internet technologies during the late 1990s and early 2000s. His expertise and insights have taken him across the country as a speaker at a wide range of venues—from corporate events and business conferences to churches, youth gatherings, worship seminars, and men’s retreats. Regardless of the audience, Kevin’s voice resonates with clarity, practicality, and purpose.

In 2018, Kevin faced one of life’s most profound challenges: a battle with cancer. That journey—marked by pain, reflection, and eventual healing—became a defining chapter in his life. It deepened his faith, sharpened his focus, and instilled a renewed sense of urgency to live with intention. Out of that season emerged The Greater Truth, a personal and spiritual writing project rooted in the idea that life was never meant to be so complicated.

“Life can be hard—Jesus even told us we’d face trials,” Kevin says. “But we often make it harder than it needs to be. The Greater Truth is about helping people return to simplicity, uncomplicating their relationships with God, recognizing the power of their words, and thinking better thoughts about themselves.”

Simplicity is more than a theme in Kevin’s work—it’s a philosophy. Whether addressing tangled problems in technology or the emotional knots in human relationships, he believes the most powerful solutions are often the simplest. But simplicity is easy to miss in a world full of noise and distraction.

“We tend to over-complicate everything—from tech systems and career decisions to friendships and even saying ‘I’m sorry.’ Sometimes the best answer is standing right in front of us, but we can’t see it because we’ve cluttered the view.”

This belief fuels Kevin’s work as an author. To date, he has written seven insightful and inspiring books exploring themes of love, growth, identity, transformation, and the beauty of unexpected journeys. Through his writing and speaking, Kevin continues to encourage others to strip away complexity, embrace truth and faith, and live with intention.

Together with Georgina, he’s excited about future projects that will expand on The Greater Truth, offering new tools and perspectives to help others live more peacefully, purposefully, and authentically.
