SYNOPSIS: "Postremo is a Latin term that means ‘finally’, or ‘at last’. We all have these postremo moments in our lives. They occur in our families, in our friendships, in our jobs, in our churches. A postremo moment is a moment of transition, a moment of transformation. It is a moment of profound change, where nothing will ever be the same again. The tragedy in life is sometimes we make decisions that delay our postremo moment . . . and sometimes, it is worse. Sometimes we miss our postremo moments entirely.
This book looks at a few of those transformational postremo moments from different figures in the Bible. Adam had that moment, as did Noah, and Joseph and Moses. David had that moment, as did Mary. Both Mary’s. It looks at the postremo moment of Jesus Christ. It asks us to look for, to search for that elusive postremo moment in our own lives.
Those moments in life where we sit back, exhaling a deep breath and simply say, “Finally,” are the best moments in life.
In Postremo, we discuss how to see those moments coming, and how to fight through the obstacles that life throws at us to keep us from that beautiful moment, that Finishing Moment with our Creator, where we become who we are supposed to be . . . and beyond.
